My first book came from an elementary project idea that I was testing out in college, creating a mixed-up animal. When finished I had a unique and adorable character that needed a story. I was very fortunate to find a publisher and two books later I am so pleased and thankful to be able to bring my ideas to the page and share them with young readers.

I have always enjoyed writing, and I'm constantly thinking of new stories. I tell my daughters stories at bed time, and each story I challenge my imagination to think of new characters for them. I write down the good ones for future book ideas!
